Description
Vortex io takes the classic .io game formula — eat, grow, dominate — and gives it a satisfying nautical twist. You control a swirling vortex on the ocean surface, and your goal is beautifully simple: swallow everything in your path.

You start small, capable of absorbing only tiny debris and the smallest boats. But as you consume more objects, your vortex expands, and suddenly those mid-sized vessels that were threats become snacks. The growth feedback loop is addictive in the way all great .io games are — you're always just a few swallows away from the next power tier, which makes "one more round" nearly impossible to resist.

Controls are dead simple: move with the mouse, arrow keys, or WASD. The real skill isn't in complex inputs but in reading the arena. Bigger vortices move slower — you can outmaneuver them easily but can't fight them head-on. Smaller vortices are fast and nimble but fragile. The optimal strategy is a constant risk assessment: is that juicy target worth venturing into territory patrolled by a player twice your size?

The ocean setting provides natural visual variety — boats, buoys, sea creatures, and other maritime objects populate the arena. The water physics give movement a pleasant weightiness that distinguishes it from the floatier feel of Agar.io clones. Matches can swing dramatically in the final moments, keeping tension high until the leaderboard freezes.

Perfect for: .io game fans, casual competitive players, anyone who enjoys risk-reward gameplay loops.
